A.k.a. ‘The last supper’ - we were drawn here by the good reviews, in our opinion, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and was a good experience by all standards, but not outstanding, the service was efficient and polite. Perhaps we have become accustomed to more seasoning but we honestly felt something was missing in both of the dishes we ordered. Will choose something different from the menu next time.

Great restaurant, seated us without reservation. One of the best services I’ve had. The waiters are very tranquil and considerate. They also comply to some non-standard requirements would you wish to have them. Food is great. The (red wine) risotto is the best I’ve had. The meat was very tender, and grilled medium, like requested. The products are very nicely compiled , and the different textures compliment each other perfectly. Never had a good Tiramisu, hence I started wondering whether I like Tiramisu at all. But this Tiramusu was by far the best one I’ve ever had, and made me realize that I was missing out all this time. The restaurant isn’t very visible from outside, its in a corner. And Google Maps might even navigate you to the back alley, so there is a chance you will miss this restaurant.

We had a lovely dinner at Il Cenacolo. A beautiful atmosphere between the roaring fire of the oven, the large Last supper painting and the wall full of pictures, showing the restaurant history. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, sage tortellini, Amarone risotto, beef cooked on the grill and pork cheeks on creamy polenta. Good wine selection too. The only thing I would point out is that we would have preferred a bit more time between the dishes. The restaurant wasn't busy that night and we wanted to take our time and enjoy the atmosphere. Apart from that it was perfect

I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for somewhere to have an upscale dinner in Verona. It is slightly expensive, but the food is worth the price. Everything was delicious; I was particularly a fan of the truffle dishes and recommend their millefoglie with raspberry sauce for dessert. The dishes come in smaller portion sizes, but this is typical of any fancy restaurant. The atmosphere is cosy and we received a free glass of prosecco after being seated. The staff are also highly attentive. It’s a popular place so make sure you book a reservation!

Best proper Italian meal we’ve ever had! We were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and the service was very good and quick. We ordered the pan fried Mozzarella with peppers and cherry tomatoes with pesto for a starter, and for our mains risotto in amaretto wine, fillet stake in amaretto wine as well, and for dessert their famous tiramisu and millefoglie. They also do individual bottles of wine (about 3 glasses worth) which I find really convenient. It is not cheap, but in my opinion well worth the price. Good ambiance, friendly staff, quick service and unreal food!

Ukrainian waitress was nice and helpful - gave good steak and wine recommendation, chatted with us all night. They also have parking for bicycles! Background music was pleasant and added to the vibe. Greatly recommend to choose the table in the middle, facing the Last Supper painting - I think it’s the most epic seat 😉

We visited Verona as part of honeymoon bicycle trip and would like to had a romantic diner with steaks. We googled the restaurant, came to the entrance and were not confident to enter into, because it looks like very fancy inside and dress code mandatory, but we were in cycling clothes. So, we sited in another nearby restaurant, where a waiter just dropped his menu on our cutlery. Just imagine a menu use a lot of people with not washing hands and then the menu put on your cutlery with you will eat your food. So, we decided to go back to Cenacolo and it was the best choice! We spent good time in the restaurant eat awesome meat dishes, drunk wine, had good conversations with waitresses.

Intimate and cozy with an excellent service and nice atmosphere. Welcome prosecco glass was a nice touch. Pasta caccio e pepe with gamberi and lime was something to come back for, delicate although flavorful. The branzino wasn't the best choice. Will be back to try some suggestions instead. All in all a very nice dinner.
